My Understanding of Labscopes and Permanent Magnets

by Luis Plascencia

To my understanding, permanent magnets are magnets that produce A/C voltage on their own. Permanent magnets are used on a variety of sensors to make sure that those components are receiving the correct voltage needed to operate them and that to make sure they are functioning properly. Labscopes are used to check the voltage that permanent magnets receive and to check how often a permanent magnet creates a pulse.

Question: Are Labscopes the most accurate tool we can use to determine A/C voltage output from a permanent magnet?
